Our second step is to prove out this solution in our lab. We can simulate the finishing process with various lab equipment including robots, CNC, Straight-Line, Rotary, and off hand machinery. |
We also have the measuring equipment to ensure that we meet even high-tolerance finishing needs. |

OPERATOR INTERFACE
Hammond Automatic Systems are equipped with Cel-Vision™, a user-friendly operator interface the provides concise, easy to understand machine system feedback.

ROBOTIC FINISHING HEADS
Specialized finishing heads used in our Robotic Systems can also enhance or upgrade your current finishing process. Here are a few examples. Additional models are available.
CFD-60-2
The Hammond Constant Force Device (CFD) is an abrasive belt grinder with passive compliance. Great for light pressure finishing, it can be used to buff, brush or polish with abrasive wheel or brush. |

|

|
AFD-132
With active compliant force and real time closed-loop feedback, the Hammond Active Force Device (AFD) is designed to handle abrasive belts up to 2-1/2" wide x 60". |
RBL-2
The Hammond RBL-2 Dual Wheel Robotic Finishing Head is for buffing, brushing, or unitized wheels. Designed for a maximum 18" wheel diameter, it is standard with dust scoops at each wheel. |
